Celebrity Big Brother rolling news: The housemates revealed

A NEW batch of celebrities are entering the infamous Celebrity Big Brother house and are aiming to capture the hearts of the nation.

Here we keep up with all the latest developments on the opening night:

21.25: Cheryl has to tell Mike she hates Julie because she had an affair with her ex. Mike looks shocked.

Cheryl says: "You look the bedroom don't you, Julie?"

21.24: Now he's showing off his 6-pack to the crowd. Brian makes sure he has a stroke.

21.23: ...and some hair gel by the looks of it.

21.22: Housemate number three is Jersey Shore star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino. He sure loves a mirror...

21.21: Big Brother wants to see "scandal, tears and tantrums". None of the housemates must find out what they're up to. Housemates will be punished if they fail the task.

21.20: Great start for Big Brother as the earpieces have pins on them so Cheryl and Julie can't wear them.

21.17: Julie and Cheryl are called to the Diary Room. Big Brother tells the stars they must turn Big Brother into a sensational soap opera for the next 90 minutes.

21.14: Some spectacular outfits on show so far tonight. Cheryl's dress is sporting a vast array of sparkling jewels and what looks like a massive mouth. Brian reckons it's the Big Brother eye.

21.13: Housemate number two is another sopa star - Cheryl Fergison.

21.11: Julie can only mutter a series of monosyllabic phrases as she steps into the house for the first time. It all looks rather plush!

21.03: Corrie legend Julie Goodyear is revealed as the first housemate. Her outfit is a comment on 'leopard meets Joseph and his sparkly multicoloured dreamcoat'. Just gorgeous, darling!

21.02: Some scantily-clad, glamorous dancers get us kicked off as host Brian Dowling takes centre stage.

21.00: Here we go. The new series of Celebrity Big Brother has started!
