GRAFTER Carlos Tevez is refusing to take a single day off in a bid to get Manchester City’s title defence off to a flying start.
Tevez spent SIX MONTHS away from Carrington last year before finally returning to help City to the title.
The Argy looked in great nick yesterday, scoring in the Premier League champions’ 3-2 win over Chelsea in the Community Shield.
And City No2 David Platt said: “Carlos has worked ever so hard in pre-season.
“Since he has come back in he has really attacked his work and not had one day off.
“His goal against Chelsea was one of those you can remember him doing two years ago.
“He ducks inside, he goes away from people. That’s what he’s been missing and it was there again.”
