GREAT news! The Premier League is back.
And better still, that means Dream Team has finally returned to our lives.
Here at HQ, we have been studying the form guide and picked XI red-hot tips from the stars who have dazzled in pre-season.
And we have even left £500,000 in the bank, which is sure to come in handy in the four transfer windows.
In goal we chose Mark Schwarzer (£2m), who is still firmly No1 at Fulham and has kept five clean sheets in seven pre-season games.
In front of Schwarzer, we have gone for two old favourites with an eye for a goal.
Newcastle’s Steven Taylor (£2.5m) and John Terry of Chelsea (£6.5m) have both netted this pre-season.
With them is Nemanja Vidic (£6.5m), who is back in the reckoning for Manchester United – and, with 30,000 picks so far, for Dream Team bosses too.
Liverpool veteran Jamie Carragher (£3.5m) makes up this experienced back four.
Two big summer signings help form our four-man midfield. Spurs new-boy Gylfi Sigurdsson (£3.5m) and United’s Shinji Kagawa (£4.5m) have both made fine first impressions for their new clubs by getting off the mark in pre-season.
Chelsea legend and Dream Team points hoarder Frank Lampard (£6.5m) and Man City’s Samir Nasri (£4.5m) also make the cut.
We have some surprising choices for our deadly strike duo – all thanks to some advice from our @dreamteamfc Twitter followers.
Many of you called for Arsenal’s Gervinho (£3m). The Ivorian has been in top form this summer, scoring two in four games, but has only made it into 0.3 per cent of Dream Teams so far. Worth a gamble?
Alongside Gervinho is City ace Carlos Tevez (£6.5m), who dazzled in City’s victory over Chelsea in the Community Shield.
See if any of these players really are peaking at the right time, and choose your FREE Dream Team. You haven’t got long though, so get over to www.dreamteamfc.com NOW, as it all kicks off this Saturday.
