Maria Fowler sports painful-looking bruise on night out

MARIA Fowler sported a huge bruise on her leg as she headed out last night — five days after crashing her car.

The former TOWIE star was injured last Saturday after her motor shot into two other vehicles when a wasp flew into her Mercedes SLK.

The 26-year-old, who admits she is terrified of the flying critters, told TV Biz today: "My leg hurts so bad, it really, really hurts."

She revealed of the accident: "I had my right foot out of my car and I was just about to get out, my car's an automatic, and it was still in drive mode, then a wasp flew in and I put my left foot on the accelerator by accident and the car shot forward.

"The door slammed on my leg and I was screaming."

She added: "I thought I'd broke my leg."

The redhead revealed her motor hit two cars, but luckily the other vehicles were OK.

She said she then tried to reverse, but in doing so backed into some bikes.

The glamour girl added of her motor: "It needs fixing."

Despite her painful leg, Maria put on a brave face last night to head to Novikov restaurant in Mayfair, central London, with pal Craig Johnson Pass.

The redhead donned a plunging gold dress from Diva Sophia as the friends enjoyed dinner before heading to a club to continue the party.

But it seems the late night dancing didn't do much to help her leg, she tweeted: "My leg is throbbing. It hurts so much. Back to resting state tomorrow xxx."

After the accident in Derby, Maria revealed on Twitter: "I have a MASSIVE wasp phobia that affects my social life and obviously causes accidents lol. Does hypnotherapy work? Xxx

"I can't even bear looking at pictures of them. soon as one is in the vicinity I start to panic and shake loads even on tv I can't watch them."

A day later she revealed a pic of the bruise, adding: "Omg look at my bruise today. Never having my car windows open again. So dangerous with wasps about."

On Wednesday she tweeted another snap, telling her followers: "Wooooooow it's got worse woooooooow #LegSabotage #CarCrash."

And last night it appeared to be even bigger.

Maria admitted she had tried to cover up the mark before the night out, but that had made it look even worse.

She tweeted: "We are so late for Novikov because I tried to cover my bruise on my leg and ended up looking worse lol do had to wash it off aghhhh xx."
