R-Patz hides out at co-star Reese Witherspoon's ranch

DEVASTATED Robert Pattinson is allegedly hiding out at Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon's California ranch.

The heartbroken actor has been lying low ever since the shocking news of girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheating on him broke last week.

Rumours were originally rife that Rob had returned to his English birthplace in London, but now US Weekly magazine - who broke the scandal of Kristen affair with married Rupert Sanders - have claimed that he is in fact staying at his movie co-star's holiday home.

Pregant Reese, 36, allegedly offered Rob a refuge in the form of the $7 million abode, in Ojai, California.

The actress - who married husband Jim Toth at the luxury residings in March 2011 - became friends with Rob when they starred as troubled lovers Jacob and Marlena in 2011 box office hit Water For Elephants.

A source told US Weekly that Rob is "a total mess... he's questioning everything".

It would seem things aren't much better for Kristen, 22, who is said to be "inconsolable" and desperately trying to save her relationship with her Twilight co-star.

The source added: "She's dying to save the relationship. It's the only thing she cares about".

However it seems fans who are desperate for a glimpse of 26-year-old Rob won't have much longer to wait.

Whilst rumours have been rife that he would not be appearing at promotional events for his new movie Cosmopolis in two-weeks time, a spokesperson has now insisted that that he will in fact be there for all confirmed appearances as planned.

They told Gossip Cop: "Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting.

"No confirmed engagements have been cancelled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate."

Cosmopolis has already had its World premier at Cannes in May, so whether or not there will be further red carpet events to attend remains to be seen.

According to a tabloid newspaper source Rob is also keen to speak to Rupert Sanders wife Liberty Ross.

They revealed: "He needs to know for his own peace of mind if theirs was just a fleeting moment. He hopes Liberty can help him find the answers he so desperately craves."

British model Liberty, 33, has two children with the 41-year-old Snow White and the Huntsmen director, who was spotted for the first time since the affair was made public on monday, out in Los Angeles and still wearing his wedding ring.

Whilst Kristen and Rob have already moved out of the £3.8million mansion they shared and are said to be gearing up for a bitter custody battle over their dog, Bear, no news on the state of Rupert and wife of ten years Liberty's relationship has yet been reported.
