Team GB athletes mime to Queen's Don't Stop Me Now

PROUD Team GB athletes show they're not just sporting superstars but rock stars as well - miming to Queen's Don't Stop Me Now.

Heptathlon hero Jessica Ennis and cycling champions Sir Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton all mouth along to Freddie Mercury's lyrics in the Adidas clip.

And gymnastics hunk Louis Smith provides some eye-candy as he croons the classic track in celebration of an Olympic Games that has seen Team GB bag a massive 29 gold medals.

BRITISH stars mime to Queen's Don't Stop Me Now in hilarious video to mark the end of the Games

Cyclist Laura Trott performs her section seated on a fixed-wheel bike with tinsel on the handlebars - very different to the one she was riding when she bagged her two golds.

And in a quirky twist, the video stars footie ace and British sporting ambassador David Beckham as the "director" of the mime-along.

All the athletes took part in the video for free after completing their events.

Gold medal-winning rower Peter Reed said: "The singing – I feel so sorry for the crew, my voice isn't my strength, but it was a lot of fun.

"I know the song really well, I can play it on a piano. So I’m glad we chose that one. I think when it gets put together it's going to be an absolute riot."
